The Octate process
Simple, and highly effective. It works in three steps:
- Draw it. We begin with images, the ones you create or that your brain already holds. Your brain understands images first.
- Name it. Giving each image a title gives it meaning and starts the conversation, so I can hear your story.
- Number it. Numbering simply sets the order you came to your creation.
From there, the process guides you to know your truth, trust your heart, and set a clear intention. You get to see eight aspects of yourself, all the options that can support you to grow, and to do it with clarity.
What's in it for you
- Small and intimate. Common intentions, an expert facilitator, and full focus on the individual. 100% participation is a prerequisite to attend.
- Fun and creative. A playful exercise to get in touch with your unconscious mind, and to get comfortable with the unknown.
- Growth and clarity. See eight aspects of you and all the paths open to you, clearly.
- Heal and let go. We focus on forward movement, which becomes possible once we understand the past and release it.
- Self acceptance. Expect to experience it on a whole new level. No judgement, just love.
Ask for help not because you are weak, but because you want to remain strong. — Les Brown
Why I created this
Valuing myself has always been a challenge for me. As the oldest and first child, I felt like I always needed to prove myself to earn my parents' love, like I was in constant need to prove the worth of my existence. Over the years I learned to play all those roles and put on so many hats that I forgot to truly see who I really was and what I am made of.
This process let me look at myself in an honest and revealing way. It exposed so many aspects of me that everyone could see but me, and I immediately learned to see and accept those parts, because something in me knew they were always there. This time I had no reason to hide them or dim them down. They were simply part of me. I wanted others to experience the wisdom and the healing that came with it, and so now I'm offering it to you.
